I’m an enthusiastic drummer and teacher based in Oakland, CA, with over 40 years of experience, committed to performance, improvisation, and sharing the joy of music. My playing draws from rock, jazz, funk, and Afro-Latin influences, bringing versatility and creativity to every project.
I’ve worked with musicians across genres, arranged music, and helped students of all levels connect with rhythm in meaningful ways. My goal is always to inspire drummers to grow, explore, and shape their own style. Music is more than my profession; it’s my way of life.
